„Kuigi mu süda on murtud, sest pean jätma oma armastatud inimesed selja taha, on mul hea meel, et pääsen olukorrast, kuhu see värdjas haigus mind viis,“ kirjutas Sisson. „Tahan, et kõik mu armastatud inimesed teaksid, et valu ja piin on lõppenud ning olen viimaks rahus.“

Sisson tänas kõiki inimesi, kelle toetavad sõnumid aitasid tal raskel ajal toime tulla. Ta lisas hoiatuse, et vähk võib tabada igaüht. „Kui sellest loost midagi kaasa võtta, siis seda, et elu on lühike ja igaüks mõtleb, et sellised asjad ei juhtu temaga. Ka mina mõtlesin nii, aga ma ütlen teile, et see võib juhtuda igaühega, kes praegu seda loeb. Seega, elage oma elu nii täisväärtuslikult kui võimalik, ärge võtke midagi ega kedagi iseenesest mõistetavalt, sest keegi ei tea, mis ootab meid nurga taga. Olen õnnelik, et minu aeg sai viimaks läbi.“
